January 21-23, 2005 Elephant Seals - Dr. Burney LeBoeuf , internationally respected elephant seal researcher and author, will be our featured scientist. He will focus on land-based behaviors and reproduction. Join him in the field to watch the amazing spectacle of enormous male elephant seals battling for territory and females seals giving birth to the new crop of pups!

January 28-30, 2005 Sea Otters and Sea Lions
- Participants will join Dr. Jim Estes and Dr. Terrie Williams to observe and discuss sea otters and sea lions in California. We are privileged to have these research scientists, authors and professors whose research and writing have taken them from Alaska to the Antarctic to study marine mammals. They present a “big picture view” of apex predators. Join them for the latest on the California sea otter.
