AEOE activities are informal and fun, offered as a way of relaxing, learning about new places, sharing ideas with colleagues, and learning about environmental education in a relaxed atmosphere. In Previsous Years, we have had a Desert Camping Weekend, and a Wild Horse Sanctuary Weekend Adventure, an Eastern Sierra campout/Mono Lake Canoe trip, a birdwatching weekend in Anza Borrego/Salton Sea, a Colorado River Canoe Trip, a Sierra Snowplay weekend, and a Surfing Weekend.
