Weaving River Studies into your Program

Save February 26th & 27th, 2005 for the 5th annual Teach the River Symposium, sponsored by the San Joaquin River Parkway & Conservation Trust and the California Department of Fish & Game. The symposium will take place at C.A.R.T (Center for Advanced Research Technology) in Clovis, CA. The symposium provides opportunities to attend excellent workshops & field trips, all related to watershed education. You will meet lots of great people & gain information about river studies and water issues relating to the nine counties of the San Joaquin Valley. As a participant you will gain California Science and Social Science standards-based ideas and resources for teaching about local rivers. Both formal & non-formal educators are encouraged to attend. Be a part of this river experience February 26th & 27th, 2005.

In January, the 2005 registration forms will be available on-line. The registration fee is $50.00 (academic credit available for additional fee). Enrollment is limited, so don’t delay!
