Intern/Full Time Student - $15/year
The intern/student membership will remain the same to recognize those of you beautiful people in environmental education positions who are not necessarily highly compensated monetarily (volunteers, interns, students, retirees, etc.) for the amazing work that you do. The basic membership is for individuals who have studied their hearts out in school or as interns, and are now in the field as instructor or naturalists. The job title aside you know who you are, continuing to do amazing work in education. For those who are professionals in our field, we encourage you to support your organiztion by joining at the contributing level. We value all environmental educators and encourage individuals who need financial assistance in order to participate in AEOE activities to apply for a scholarship. Scholarships are offered through the Joie's Daisies Scholarship Fund (in memory of Joie Armstrong) for conferences. Also consider volunteering or presenting a workshop at the conference to reduce your conference fees. (Donations to the Joie’s Daisies Scholarship Fund are always welcome!)

Benefits of membership in AEOE include fall sectional conferences and a spring state conference which are a great chance to see friends, take professional workshops, and find jobs; voting in section elections and attending all board meetings; newsletters four times a year; this website; booths at regional environmental education fairs; jobs information; and a variety of special activities such as workshops and trips in natural areas. As a member, you are also supporting AEOE and helping us to continue putting on great conferences and activities and publishing our newsletters.
You must be a member to attend any AEOE event. Members also receive the AEOE newsletter four times a year.
Life Memberships are for individuals only at this time. Life Members help support AEOE and never have to renew. We are pleased to list our Life Members here.
Institutional membership is for organizations/programs only. It does not include individual memberships for the staff of the program. Institutional members may post jobs to the AEOE Joblist for free. Your program's website will be listed on the California EE/OE Providers Directory, along with a short description of your program, giving your organization free publicity.
