Internship
Program Description: Crossroads School is a K-12 independent private school located in Santa Monica. Our Environmental Outdoor Education (EOE) program provides a variety of environmental education programs for grades 4-12, with EOE weeks in the fall and spring for grades 4-8.
Job Description:
- Equipment storage and organization.
- Preparing clothing and equipment for 5-day, overnight programs.
- Assisting with food shopping, storage, and packing.
- Aiding in pre and post-trip logistics.
- Equipment maintenance and inventory.
- General office tasks and program support as necessary.
- Participation in select EOE programs throughout the school year.
Hours:
- 250 total hours for completion of the internship.
- 5-10 hours /week. We can provide a very flexible work schedule.
- Job Duration: School Year, Seasonal:, Fall, Winter, Spring
- Job Status: Part-Time, Temporary
- Qualifications: Be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience and interest in outdoor activities
- Strong organizational skills
- An interest in developing administrative and logistical skills.
- An interest in developing leadership and technical outdoor skills.
- No previous outdoor education experience necessary.
