2005 AEOE Southern Fall Camp-out Conference

Dates: November 4-6, 2005

Place: Highland Springs Resort, home of AEOE Institutional Member, Camp Highland, in Cherry Valley
The Highland Springs Resort is now a Green Resort - striving for ecological sanity through serving organic food, using recycled products, saving energy and resources and encouraging environmentally responsible behavior!

Cost: $30

Includes: Camping or Bunk-Style Lodging, Workshops, Entertainment, Dinner on Saturday - Thai Food!!! Yum!!

Does NOT include: Friday Dinner (bring your own) or other meals (prepare for camping) though some snacks may be provided

9:30-10:45am – Workshop Session 1
11:00am-12:15pm – Workshop Session 2
12:15-2pm – lunch
2-3:30pm – Workshop Session 3
3:30-5pm – free time
5:15pm – dinner ** Thai Food from Papaya Bay!!
8:00pm – entertainment & campfire

Southern California Environmental Educator of the Year award presented

**Papaya Bay Thai Restaurant will be catering Saturday night's dinner at the Southern Fall conference at Camp Highland.  Papaya Bay has six locations throughout the Inland Empire, and serves a plethora of tantalizing traditional Thai dishes, as well as scrumptious original creations.  Herbivores and omnivores alike will delight in this tantalizing treat for the tastebuds, so come and enjoy tasty food, fascinating people, and priceless edification in a delightful setting! November 4-6 at Camp Highland Outdoor School.

Directions from Los Angeles

  • Take the 10 Fwy East, or take the 60 Fwy East, which will merge with the 10 Fwy.
  • Exit at Highland Springs Ave, then turn left (heading north).
  • Drive for a little over 3 miles. This is a long, straight street.
  • This street will bend to the right, then bend to the left, turning into Cherry Valley Blvd.
  • Make a right turn at the first street, Overland Tr.
  • Make a right turn at the second tree-lined small road into Highland Springs Resort.
  • The main office is in the first building on the right.
