This fall, as we settle in to the new school year, it is important to take
some time to foster beauty in what our teaching creates and to find peace in
nature, ourselves, and in our interactions with those around us. The fall southern
AEOE conference is a perfect place to relax, gain practical teaching ideas,
and find motivation for the new school year. We are offering many excellent
workshops designed to improve our teaching, enhance content knowledge, and
find inspiration for the year.
The site of the fall conference is Starr Ranch Audubon Sanctuary, a 4,000
acre preserve in the Santa Ana Mountains of southeast Orange County. Not open
to the general public, the amazingly diverse and beautiful sanctuary hosts
numerous wildlife conservation and native plant restoration projects. For more
information about Starr Ranch, please visit www.starrranch.org.
