Diversity in EE:
“A Gift Unto the Giver; A Random Act of Love”

October 3-5, 2003

This year’s theme is, “A Gift Unto the Giver a Random Act of Love.” I would like to focus on the wonderful gift it is to be able to share nature and the world of discovery with our students and the awesome gifts they give to us each day. I would like to try something new for this year's conference to start off in the spirit of giving and receiving random acts of love. I would like to match schools that will be represented at the conference with one another and ask them to bring a gift to exchange the first night of the conference. The gift should be something small and simple such as a song or a craft, or maybe share a meal and come to Friday night's campfire together. We are still looking for people to offer workshops and there are many volunteer positions that need to be filled including the, all important, "Workshop Coordinator."

So, anything you would like to do would be a great help. Please feel free to contact me and let me know how you would like to help. I want this year's conference to be full of music, laughing, joy and sharing. I remember my first few conferences and how energized and ready I was to go back to work and try all the new things I had learned. I want this conference to do that for our members!
