From Rancho Alegre
Combine these things in a saucepan:
1/2 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
Boil them for 1 minute
Remove from heat
Add:
3/4 cups peanut butter
6 tablespoons Cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
Stir
Add in:
3 cups quick oats
NOTE: cut oatmeal in half so scat doesn't look like oatmeal
cookies. Add flour a little at a time to give it that perfect scat-like consistency
you are going for. Add sesame seeds, almond slivers or others for interesting
texture if desired!
Work fast baby! Ha ha
After that is all stirred up it will look awful!
Spoon up bits of the excremental mess onto wax paper. Make the bits the exact size you want a cookie. I usually make them about a tablespoon's worth of goo.
Let the goo set up. That is right - no baking. The things will harden. After they do, carefully remove them from wax paper and keep them in a cool place. If it is too warm, it may take forever for the buggers to set up.
SERVING SUGGESTION: For that really appetizing display, serve up in a large pan of "kitty litter" (Grape Nuts)!!
