KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That we, the undersigned, have voluntarily associated ourselves together for the purpose of forming a corporation.
FIRST: The Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education is an existing unincorporated association, and is by these Articles incorporating said association and the name of the corporation shall be ASSOCIATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND OUTDOOR EDUCATION.
SECOND: That this corporation does not contemplate pecuniary gain or profit to the members thereof.
THIRD: The County in this State (California) where the principal office for the transaction of business of the corporation is to be located is Los Angeles.
FOURTH: The names and address of the persons who are to act
in the capacity of the officers of the national association until the selection of their successors are:

The officers of the corporation shall incur no personal liability for the acts of the corporation.
FIFTH: The authorized number and qualifications of the members of this corporation, the different classes of membership, if any, the property voting and other rights and privileges of each class of membership, and the liability of each or all classes for dues or other assessments and the method of collection thereof shall be set forth and controlled by the By-laws and amendments thereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the persons who are to act in the capacity of officers of the corporation have hereunto set their hands this first day of May 94.
